FROM THE FAMILY OF LTJG DAVID JIMENEZ:
“I’m reaching out to ask if it might be possible to share my father’s obituary and burial announcement with the USS Ulysses S Grant alumni community, via social media.
He served on the USS Ulysses S. Grant, and died in the line of duty in 1987. His ashes will be buried on 10/31 at the CT State Veterans Cemetery.
Those who knew David are welcome to attend the 9 am burial or join the family at 10:30 a.m. when they visit the Submarine Force Library and Museum (ussnautilus.org) at 1 Crystal Lake Road, Groton.
